I have dozens of drawings in my filing cabinet, most of them are part of various large commissions
(I usually draw species separately and combine them on my computer when designing the final artwork, together with the text, if required),

Tea Towel for Torre delle Stelle

As someone who almost always brings home a kitchen towel as a practical souvenir from my travels, creating my own felt especially meaningful. I'm delighted with how it turned out, as it celebrates a place that is very close to my heart.

The towel features original illustrations inspired by the wildlife and cultural heritage of Torre delle Stelle in Sardinia. It includes local marine life, native plants, traditional foods, architectural landmarks, and coastal scenery. From sea urchin and gecko to hibiscus flower, fig, carob pod, and the historic Su Fenugu Tower, each illustration captures a small part of the character and charm of this beautiful Mediterranean destination.
