Marlay Park is a truly mysterious place.
Once there, you’ll experience modernity blending with tradition, as if the past would be embracing the present.
Surrounded by old trees, no one knows how long they’ve been there. Each tree, old and new, has lived and witnessed an era passing by.
They hold secrets that nobody knows. If you’ll listen closely, you might hear them narrating stories of how this beautiful Marlay Park came into existence, the history it has been through, and how it came to be known as Marlay Park.
These tree drawings were exhibited in April and May 2018 in Marlay Park’s Laurelmere Cottage which is the head office of Royal Horticultural Society of Ireland.
My tree art is also available on sale in Airfield’s Overends and in my online shop.
If you like these tree drawings, please have also a look at another project related to tree art – drawings of olive trees.
